Regulation

This regulation is adapted from UCI General Regulations

BICYCLE AND EQUIPMENT
2.0.1.    Equipment use in the competition must be a good working bicycle that meets the safety requirements such as brakes on both wheels
2.0.2.    Bicycle must have a good working suspension front and rear or front only.
2.0.3.    Maximum handlebar width is 80cm.
2.0.4.    Bicycle must go through the scrutinizing before they can be use in the competition

3.0. COURSE AND FACILITIES
3.1.       Start and Finish
3.1.1.    Start and finish gate must have clearance minimum of 2.6 meter
3.1.2.    Time will be stopped after the front tire passed the finish line.
3.1.3.    START and FINISH area:
3.1.3.1 Track width with a minimum of 3-4 meters for 15 meters long after the starting gate is required.
3.1.3.2 Track width with a minimum of 3-4 meters for 15 meters long before FINISH is required.
3.1.3.3 Track width with a minimum of 3-4 meters for 15 meters long after FINISH for braking purpose is required.


3.2.       Course
3.2.1.    The course should comprise varied terrain sections: narrow and broad tracks, woodland roads and paths, field paths and rocky tracks. There should be a mixture of fast and technical sections. The emphasis of the course should be to test the riders technical skills rather than their physical ability
3.2.2.    The minimum length of the course 1.2km or max 3.5km.
3.2.3.    The minimum elevation of 100m.
3.2.4.    Maximum pedaling section is 10% of the course length.
3.2.5.    Single-track area must have at least 80cm clear path and minimum 1.2m wide to accommodate the widest handle bar now produce
3.2.6.    Easy access road for the loading truck to the starting area.
3.2.7.    Manmade obstacles are allowed with good calculated risks and safety and must be easily spotted from riders point of view.

3.3.       Obstacles and Jumps
3.3.1.    Jump approach: must have 3-4 meters long approach area for low speed and 7-10 meter for high speed.
3.3.2.    Take Off ramps: It is advice that a high-speed jump should be made in the shape of non concave, almost straight but upwards and a low speed jump can have a concave shape.
3.3.3.    Landing: No flat landing is allowed, a 15 degrees angle of a receiver must be made to absorb the landing.
3.3.4.    The cycling sanction body has approve track drawing and obstacle.

4.0.       RACING FACILITIES
4.0.1     Official timing booth must be clear from riders and team officials
4.0.2     Safety officers, first aid kit and evacuation team must be place in all dangerous area or obstacles along the track
4.0.3     Only official loading car, team supports and journalists are allowed in the loading lane or area.
4.0.4     A good communication system such as two-way radio with a sealed frequency is require for the officials and racing committee.
4.0.5     It is recommend using a digital timing system that has been appointed by the cycling body sanction.
4.0.6     Digital timing screen will present at finish area where the entire competitor, official and all visitors can view the real time result

5.0 RIDERS IDENTIFICATION
5.0.1.    All riders must show their number plates during official practice run
5.0.2.    Number plate must be made in this measurement 18 cm X 18 cm
5.0.3.    Number plate must be in white background color using black number
5.0.4.    Number plate must be waterproof

6.0. CLOTHING AND PROTECTIVE ACCESSORIES
6.0.1.    An approved full face helmet must be worn when training and racing on the course
6.0.2.    Full body protectors for youth category is a mandatory
6.0.3.    Elbow, Knee/Shin Protector
6.0.4.    Full Finger Gloves
6.0.5.    Skin suit is not allowed

7.0. PENALTY OR DISQUALIFICATION
7.0.1.    Penalty and Disqualification is judge and given by the race commissar.
7.0.2.    Use of drugs, short cuts, and using other riders as a jockey will lead into Penalty and Disqualification.

8.0. PROTESTS
8.0.1.    The race commissar should receive protest after the rider crossed the finish line in each category.
8.0.2.    Protest must be in written and send maximum of 15 minutes after the last rider in the same category crossed the finish line, given to Race Commissar or Race Director inclusive of a fee USD 300
8.0.3.    If the rider is entitled for podium then the prize ceremony will be hold until a decision is made.

9.0. RIDER CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS
9.0.1.    Elite, Riders with the highest level of riding skill
9.0.2.    Open class is all rider which not in the list of riders Master A,B,C
9.0.4.    Master A, rider that since 1st of January 2012 is age 30-36 years old
9.0.5.    Master B, rider that since 1st of January 2012 is age 37- 41 years old
9.0.6.    Master C, rider that since 1st of January 2012 is age 42- years old and above

10.0. CONDUCT OF RIDERS
10.0.1. A rider must act in a sporting manner at all times and shall permit any faster rider to overtake without obstructing.
10.0.2.  If a rider exits the course for any reason, he/she must return to the course at the same point from which he/she exited.
10.0.3   The riders must respect nature and shall make sure that they do not pollute the course venue.
